Outside Fun!

Yep!  She's eating dirt.  Like mother, like daughter! (When I was much younger of course)

For those of you who are wondering...I did not make them pick up tiny rocks and move then to other parts of the yard...It was purely voluntary!  

Chuck E. Cheese!

A few weeks ago we went to a birthday party at Chuck E Cheese's.  The kids had a great time.  The best part was that Nonnie was here so she got to come too!!

Beau really like it when Chuck came out and played.  Abby, however, DID NOT!

Pecans with dad...

Abby woke up a little early from her nap, so she helped Jerrod pick up pecans.

She was doing a very good job throwing them in the bucket.

Cookies!

It was the Children's classes turn to take snacks to church so Beau wanted to take cookies.

He did a very good job cutting the dough...

...and putting on the sprinkles!

...And telling Abby to "get down Abby!"

Abby did a good job tasting the cookies!  She was part of the "quality control" team.  I think the crumbs mean we did good!

An Evening At The Park...

After picking the kids up from Auntie's, we took them to the park for a while.  We had a great time!

Abby learned to give 'high-five' and 'nuckles.'

She really enjoyed swinging and got very upset when it was time to go.

Beau & Jerrod played an intense game of "Hide & Seek."  And yes...that's Beau hiding under a table like he can't be seen. We had to discuss what "hiding" actually meant, as well as why he should laugh while people are searching for him.

He counted very well though!!

He's not a very good seeker either...We talked about that too.

Mom helped with this hiding place, but Beau wouldn't keep his head down.  Guess we will have to keep practicing.
