The Mesilla Valley Maze

The hospital where I work reserved the Mesilla Valley Maze on Friday, and paid for each employee +3 guests to go and eat and enjoy the maze.  It was windy, but we had a good time!

Beau got to pick 3 pumpkins...

Ride a horse, although he was disappointed it didn't rock like his at home...

And ride a tricycle.

Jerrod and Beau also slid down a giant slide on a potato sack, but it was after dark so the pictures didn't turn out very well.

Beau was tuckered out!

Sandbox friends...

Apparently, Beau felt the need to have companionship in his sandbox today.  Unfortunately, his friends of choice are battery operated and are not washer friendly.  They had to go back inside the house.

Baby Shower

The ladies at Fairacres Baptist Church gave us a wonderful baby shower!  And yes...Jerrod is still praying for a boy.

Nonnie & Poppy's

We went to Texico to celebrate my grandpa's 80th birthday!  Beau could not wait to get to Nonnie and Poppy's house!

 

It rained, so Beau was able to get extra dirty!

At the birthday party, Beau discovered his shadow.

And of course there was yummy cake, made by Beau's very own Nonnie!

Morning Chats with Beau...

Every morning I ask Beau if he had sweet dreams.  This morning he actually told me about his dream...

Mom:  Did you have sweet dreams?
Beau:  Yeah.
Mom:  What did you dream about?
Beau: Cows
Mom:  Cows?  What happened to the cows?
Beau:  Poppy wide (ride) cows.
Mom:  Really?  We're not supposed to ride cows.  Is Poppy okay?
Beau:  Poppy hit noggin!
Mom:  Poppy hit his noggin!? Oh no!
Beau:  Yeah!
Mom:  Is Poppy okay?
Beau:  Yes.

State Fair!

Knowing the guys with the keys to the animal pens sure has it's perks!

Who would have thought a box of corn would be this much fun!  I told Jerrod we needed one in the back yard.  All I heard was, "Blah blah blah...until it rains...blah blah blah!"
